Course interest list privacy notice

We use the email address you provide, and your first name where requested, to send course release and enrolment updates through beehiiv and administer introductory-price reservations. Joining requires no payment or purchase commitment and does not enrol you in the course. The launch signup forms do not ask for a phone number.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Unsubscribing stops those emails; it does not automatically erase all records. We review the list every six months and remove inactive interest records 12 months after enrolment first opens unless you separately choose ongoing updates. If the launch is cancelled, we close the list and remove interest records within 90 days.

We keep minimal consent and price-reservation evidence while sending updates or honouring a reservation, then for three years after the later of the last marketing email or resolution of the reservation. This evidence is limited to your email, consent date, source and wording, unsubscribe date where applicable, and reservation eligibility. We keep a minimal do-not-email record while the academy continues marketing to prevent accidental re-addition; it is not used for marketing.

We aim to acknowledge privacy requests within five business days and complete them within 30 days. These are service targets; we will explain any records we need to retain and any provider limitations. We have not confirmed beehiiv's individual backup-deletion timelines.

We use beehiiv for signup processing and Netlify to host the website. See beehiiv’s privacy policy and Netlify’s privacy policy. Our launch website omits optional Google Analytics and advertising-pixel loaders. These providers may process technical or usage information, and their published terms/subprocessor lists contemplate processing outside Canada, including in the United States. Exact account-specific logging and individual backup-deletion timelines remain unconfirmed; we do not promise Canadian-only storage, tracking-free signup or complete erasure within 30 days.
